This digital gap risked pushing students away from the platform, especially those who depended on Doubtnut for exam preparation and academic support in regional languages. Additionally, maintaining consistent engagement and communication with these students was becoming increasingly difficult through traditional channels. To prevent student drop-offs and ensure uninterrupted academic support, Doubtnut needed a faster, more accessible, and low-bandwidth solution for ongoing interaction and doubt resolution.

The Solution

To bridge the accessibility gap, Doubtnut launched a WhatsApp-based chatbot that delivers the core functionalities of its platform through a simplified, user-friendly interface.

Students can now send a question—such as one on the third law of thermodynamics—directly via WhatsApp and receive links to up to five relevant solution videos within just 10 seconds. These video explanations are available in 11 regional languages, ensuring faster, more inclusive learning without the need for a high-end device or heavy app usage.
